NEW YORK – September 25, 2007 - Opal Financial
Group will host the 2007 Securitization Awards during the Global Real Estate
Finance (GREF) Summit and European Collateralized Debt Obligation (Euro CDO)
Summit Wednesday, October 17, in Monte Carlo, Monaco. This ceremony
will recognize the industry's top issuers, investors and service providers for
their achievements and performance in the CDO process.
Awards will be issued to winners in the following categories: Trustee and Administrative Service Provider, CMBS/RMBS Issuer of the Year, Law Firm of the Year, Manager of the Year, Deal of the Year – CDO, Deal of the Year – CMBS, Exceptional Contribution and the Investment Bank of the Year. The Securitization Awards’ judging panel will be comprised of individuals from Opal Financial Group, CDO and MBS industry professionals as well as a select number of media representatives. A short list of finalists for each category will be announced the first week in October followed by the announcement of the winners the evening of October 17.
